Zelda OOT Remake: Find Richard the Dog in Castle Town Market at night

Richard is a white dog players can find in the Castle Town Market in the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Returning him to his owner earns a Piece of Heart, making the search a useful diversion for players looking to increase their health.

Unlike the original N64 game, where Richard was behind a market stall near the Bazaar, the remake places him wandering the alley to the left of the Shooting Gallery at night. Interact with him using the “Play” option and he will follow; four Pieces of Heart can be exchanged for a new Heart Container.
