ZOLTAN BATHORY: FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Is ‘Not Even Close’ To Retiring

Blabbermouth · 4 hours ago

Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory has said the band is “not even close” to retiring, despite speculation prompted by the title of its forthcoming tenth album, *Legacy*. He described the record as a milestone marking 20 years of the band and its lasting place in heavy metal and hard rock, rather than a farewell.

*Legacy* will be released digitally on 31 July, with CD, vinyl and cassette editions following on 18 September. Bathory said the title also celebrates the band’s long-standing, increasingly multigenerational fan community, including independently run fan clubs across countries such as Germany, Norway and the UK.

  • Five Finger Death Punch says retirement is not imminent.
  • *Legacy* marks the band’s tenth album and 20 years.
  • Digital release arrives 31 July; physical editions follow in September.
