Team Europe won their sixth Laver Cup title after Alexander Zverev defeated Team World debutant Learner Tien at London’s O2 Arena. Zverev’s victory completed Europe’s comeback after Carlos Alcaraz had kept them in contention following Zverev’s earlier loss to Alex de Minaur.

Flavio Cobolli and Jakub Mensik had extended Europe’s lead by beating de Minaur and Taylor Fritz in the doubles, taking the team to the 13 points required for victory. Zverev beat Tien 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 in one hour and 49 minutes, securing his eighth singles win at the competition and appearing in all six of Europe’s victories.
