Ukraine launched one of its largest drone attacks of the war against Moscow and the surrounding region overnight, targeting an oil depot and logistics facilities more than 250 miles from the Ukrainian border. The strike, confirmed by both Ukrainian and Russian officials, underscores Kyiv's continued ability to hit deep inside Russian territory despite the distance from the front line, keeping pressure on Russian infrastructure and energy supplies far from the war zone.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said more than 400 Ukrainian drones were launched towards the Moscow region between Sunday evening and early Monday, with 85 of them intercepted as they approached the Russian capital. Russia's Defence Ministry separately reported on the scale of the assault, while Russian officials said two people were wounded and buildings caught fire as a result of the attack.
