Prada Taps Barry Jenkins to Direct Campaign Starring Ambassadors in “Domestic Intimacy”

The Hollywood Reporter · 8 hours ago

Prada has unveiled its fall/winter 2026 campaign directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, marking a rare foray into fashion advertising for the acclaimed director. The campaign features brand ambassadors Kelvin Harrison Jr., Hunter Schafer, Troye Sivan and Chen Haoyu wearing menswear and womenswear designed by creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, with Jenkins framing everyday "scenes from life" to lend clothing and accessories a starring role within intimate domestic settings.

The stills and motion images depict small, ordinary moments—such as Harrison at a mirror or Schafer hurriedly putting on shoes—rendered stylish through the campaign's focus on "domestic intimacy" and "normalcy," with Fernando Verder serving as creative director. Jenkins, known for Moonlight and last year's Mufasa: The Lion King, reunites with Harrison from that Disney film, while the roster reflects Prada's longstanding relationships with its ambassadors, including Schafer, who joined the house in 2021 and is soon to appear in Blade Runner 2099.
