Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's Season 5 update launches on Thursday, 23 July, bringing a large batch of new content across every mode as developer Treyarch continues its pattern of substantial post-launch support. The update includes new multiplayer maps and modes, additional zombies content, endgame features, and Warzone updates, giving players who have stayed with the game plenty of fresh material to explore.

For UK players, Season 5 goes live at 5pm BST on 23 July. Highlights include five new multiplayer maps (among them remasters of Dig from Black Ops 2 and Frequency from Black Ops 4) plus three new modes, a new zombies map called Rex Infernus alongside a survival map, Eidskallen Lighthouse, and two new modes for existing maps Kowakujo and Astra Malorum. Warzone's Verdansk map gains a new Drone Labs point of interest featuring supply drones and a code-locked armed JLTV vehicle, alongside two new modes and a killstreak. New weapons across the whole game include the FG42 assault rifle, Mammoth LMG, Gremlin SMG and Mace melee weapon, plus six new attachments and fresh operator skins and bundles.
