Charli xcx is due to release her new album, ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, at midnight on 24 July. The record follows the international success of ‘BRAT’ and signals a shift away from a solely dance-focused sound, with Charli presenting it as a way of exploring and reshaping her artistic perspective.

The cover, photographed by Aidan Zamiri, features John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese as representatives of music, fashion and film. Singles released so far include ‘Rock Music’, ‘SS26’, ‘Wink Wink’ and ‘Camera’; the 11-track album closes with ‘No One Lasts Forever’, featuring David Cronenberg. Charli will headline Reading and Leeds Festival at the end of August after recently playing London’s Scala.
