Banijay Entertainment H1 Revenues Dip in First Earnings Update Since Completion of All3Media Deal

Variety · 9 hours ago

Banijay Entertainment has reported its first financial results since completing its merger with All3Media, showing a slight dip in first-half revenues. The figures, covering January to June 2026, do not yet include All3Media's performance, which will only be folded in from the second half of the year onwards, meaning the full effect of the deal has yet to show up in the accounts.

Half-year revenue reached €1.37 billion ($1.56 billion), down 2.2% on the same period in 2025, with production revenue falling 11.9% due to what the company called "anticipated phasing in production." Distribution revenue rose 10.5%, helped by an unspecified format sale, while live events revenue jumped almost 50% on the back of the Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. The merger with RedBird IMI's All3Media, completed earlier this month, created an $8 billion group spanning 25 territories with over 265,000 hours of content, including titles such as "The Traitors," "Big Brother" and "Peaky Blinders"; chief executive François Riahi said 2026 was a "transformational year" and that integration synergies would begin in the second half.
