Swedish symphonic power metal band DRAGONLAND have announced their new album, ‘Prophecies’, and released its first single, ‘Survival Of Mankind’. Due on 23 October through Scarlet Records, the record marks the band’s seventh studio album and continues its blend of fantasy themes, melodic power metal and orchestral arrangements.

The 12-track release was mixed and mastered by producer Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman, while Pedro Sena created the artwork. It follows the recent departure of longtime guitarist Olof Mörck, who remains on one final album track written with keyboardist Elias Holmlid in 2013; the album also includes a CD/digital bonus cover of FM-84’s ‘Running In The Night’.
