Garth Brooks has added further Denver dates to his Blame It On My Roots arena tour after more than 500,000 people reportedly joined Ticketmaster’s queue for tickets. The demand underlines the strong appetite for Brooks’s return to arena performances, particularly in cities he has not visited for many years.

Denver will now have four shows, including a matinee and evening performance on 6 September, while Indianapolis also received two additional weekend dates after nearly 400,000 people queued. Tickets are priced uniformly at $155.25 regardless of seat location; the tour is Brooks’s first official arena return since his 1996 world tour, whose Double Live album later became the best-selling live album in recorded-music history.
