Megadeth have announced "Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations", a 24-date European leg of their ongoing multi-year farewell tour, running from March to April 2027. The thrash metal veterans will be joined throughout by Black Label Society and Testament, and the run follows a hugely successful year for the band, including their first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

The tour begins on 9 March 2027 in Belfast and closes on 13 April in Lisbon, taking in eight UK dates (Belfast, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds) alongside stops across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal. It follows the chart-topping success of the band's seventeenth and final studio album, which earned 73,000 equivalent album units in its opening US week and reached the Top 5 in 22 global markets. Presales begin on 4 August (Cyber Army) and 5 August (artist presale), with general on-sale from 7 August.
