Palworld’s expanding to mobile with a new MMORPG

The Verge · 3 hours ago

Palworld is expanding beyond PC and consoles with a new mobile title, Palworld Online, an open-world MMORPG due to launch later this year. The move comes just weeks after Palworld's 1.0 launch and is being developed by Garena, extending the popular "creature-collecting with guns" franchise to iOS and Android audiences for the first time.

According to the announcement, reported by Polygon, Palworld Online will retain core elements of the original game, including crafting, creature collecting, and co-op, PvP and PvE multiplayer modes. It will introduce a new narrative setting with original story elements and exclusive side stories, alongside a touch-friendly interface with optional one-tap controls designed for base management on mobile screens. No release date has been confirmed yet, though it may arrive before Pocketpair's previously announced farming spin-off, Palfarm, which also remains without a launch date.
