Elizabeth Gillies has joined the cast of "The Right Side," an independent political dramedy series created by Max Talisman, alongside stars Andie MacDowell and Peter Gallagher. The half-hour show centres on a conservative media couple whose curated public image clashes with their liberal, podcast-famous twin children during a network tribute special, offering a satirical look at family and political divides in the media age.

Gillies will play Jordan Silver, an influential liberal social media figure known for critiquing her parents' politics, while Talisman plays her twin brother Elliot. MacDowell plays their mother Ruthie, a conservative TV celebrity, with Gallagher as her husband and on-screen partner; Dyllón Burnside also joins in a recurring role. Talisman co-created and co-showruns the series with Lynne Kamm, with Atlantic Pictures handling production services and Gillies represented by Mainstay Entertainment and Ziffren Brittenham.
