Assassins Creed Black Flag Resynced’s Kraken wheel will no longer be “wheely expensive” following the latest update, which will also teach you how to throw cash

Ubisoft is deploying patch 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on August 4th, introducing player customisation options alongside stability improvements. The update enables players to hide visible equipment like the blowpipe through the inventory system for cosmetic purposes and increases the autosave limit from five to ten checkpoints, giving players more recovery points after mishaps. A graphics rendering bug affecting PC versions—where cutscenes would cap at 30 frames per second after toggling between low and custom graphics settings—will also be resolved.

The patch includes a teaching module for an existing but undocumented mechanic allowing players to throw money as a distraction tactic against enemies. Alongside this, the update addresses numerous reported bugs scattered across multiple systems: naval combat glitches where convoy leaders would launch unexpectedly, character animation errors placing blood effects on incorrect body areas, and an exploit where fast-travelling whilst carrying provisions would permanently remove those items.

  • Patch 1.0.6 arrives August 4th with cosmetic hiding options for equipment and doubled autosave slots from 5 to 10
  • Graphics fix resolves PC cutscenes locked at 30 FPS, plus tutorial added for previously undocumented money-throwing distraction mechanic
  • Extensive bug fixes address naval combat anomalies, character animation glitches, and inventory handling issues
