Susanna Hoffs, best known as a member of The Bangles, has announced a new solo album titled "The List", due for release on 18 September via Baroque Folk. The 12-track record draws on "decade-spanning memories" and features a host of collaborators, including Rufus Wainwright, Semisonic's Dan Wilson and Edie Brickell, marking a significant solo release for the veteran musician.

The album was recorded at Hoffs' Los Angeles home and produced by CJ Camerieri, with lead single "Casablanca" released alongside the announcement, inspired by the film of the same name and a 1988 encounter with the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir. Another track, "What Are Wings For", adapts a scene from Hoffs' debut novel This Bird Has Flown. To support the release, Hoffs will tour the US in September, including a five-night residency at New York's Cafe Carlyle and festival appearances at Sea.Hear.Now and Oceans Calling.
