Rock artist Huddy has released a new single titled 'Cheap', continuing his run of pop-rock crossover material as he moves into a fresh creative phase. The track is described as densely layered and quietly intense, with Huddy using it to address people who have tried to undermine him and to reclaim ownership of his own narrative, striking a balance between playfulness and defiance.

Speaking about the song, Huddy said it is about freeing himself from negativity, explaining that he has previously let names, rumours and hate affect him, and that 'Cheap' turns that experience on its head. The single follows his previous release 'Burn The Ballroom Down' from late last year, and Huddy also features on Volume 01 of Pop Sound with his own rendition of Ariana Grande's 'we can't be friends'.
