Tasha Cobbs Leonard will release her live worship album, Tasha Unscripted, on 11 September through Motown Gospel and Capitol Christian Music Group. Recorded at a concert in Atlanta earlier this year, the project marks a return to her established live-performance format after her 2025 studio album TASHA, and will be supported by an autumn tour.

The album features guest performers including Mickey Guyton, Jonathan McReynolds, Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, William Murphy and Israel Houghton; a live preview track with Houghton is already available. Cobbs Leonard will also receive the Aretha Franklin Icon Award at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards on 15 August, where she has six nominations, while holding three GMA Dove Award nominations.
