Carly Rae Jepsen has released “Don’t Leave Me On The Dance Floor”, the latest single from her forthcoming double album Day And Night, alongside a music video directed by playwright Jeremy O. Harris. The ABBA-inspired track introduces the album’s “night” side and marks Harris’s first music-video directing role, with the video depicting a couple attempting to endure relationship turmoil.

Jepsen said the song was inspired by recording in Sweden and attending ABBA Voyage in London, prompting her to create a singalong pop track with updated production. The video stars Alden Ehrenreich and Olivia Washington, while Day And Night follows earlier singles “On Wires” and “After All” and is due for release on 18 September via Interscope.
