PEAK’s Final Ascent update adds the Last Resort Badge, which requires players to use the Ritual Dagger during a co-operative run. The challenge matters because the dagger only appears in co-op, making the badge and its associated rewards unavailable to solo players.

Players must search Ancient Statues and Ancient Luggage for the dagger, whose location is random and may include areas such as the Citadel. After obtaining it, they must reduce their health to 25% or less, then use the dagger from behind on a teammate; this kills and petrifies the teammate while restoring at least 75% of the user’s health. The dagger can alternatively be consumed to restore health and cure current ailments.
