Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders is close to joining Saudi Pro-League club Al-Qadsiah for £52m after City agreed a fee for the Dutch international. The move would represent a profit on the £46.5m City paid AC Milan last summer and could form part of a wider midfield rebuild following Pep Guardiola’s final season in charge.

Reijnders, 28, scored seven goals in 47 appearances but struggled to sustain his early impact, and trained separately from the main squad as the transfer progressed. Al-Qadsiah are managed by Brendan Rodgers, while City face uncertainty over Rodri’s future and have shown interest in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez; Reijnders also made three appearances for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup.
