The HBO series follows Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart as they investigate a mystery on Earth. Mundy’s comments align with earlier descriptions of the programme as having a gritty tone, while DC Studios co-head James Gunn has said it will be an important part of the wider DC Universe; Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre have been cast as Jordan and Stewart respectively.
