‘GTA 6’ Map Leak Reveals Size of Rockstar’s New Vice City

A hacking group known as Cyberleek has leaked a purported map of Leonida, the fictional Florida-based setting of Grand Theft Auto 6, alongside gameplay footage showing features such as basketball, water physics and an updated wanted system. Fans have long tried to piece together the scale of Rockstar Games' new setting themselves, and if genuine, this leak would give the clearest picture yet of the scope of the long-awaited title ahead of any official reveal.

Several details lend the leak credibility, including its resemblance to imagery teased in a recent GTA Online update and to maps fans had already reconstructed from trailer footage. Notably, publisher Take-Two has reportedly issued takedown requests against some of the leaked footage, which would only be possible if it recognised the material as its own. The leaked map shows five counties — Leonard, Kelly, Vice Dale, Mariana and Lummox — with unexplained icons dotted across it. Rockstar is expected to give an official extended look at the game via a Netflix feature on 27 November.
