Report: Tom Holland Could Earn Up to $100 Million for Spider-Man: Brand New Day Following Record-Breaking Box Office Success

IGN · 4 hours ago

Tom Holland is set to earn well over $100 million from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, driven by the film's record-breaking box office performance. According to The Wrap, sources familiar with his contract say Holland secured $20 million in base pay plus uncapped backend bonuses, meaning his total earnings could climb significantly beyond the $100 million mark, marking by far the biggest payday of his Marvel career.

The film has smashed several box office records, becoming the fastest movie ever to reach $700 million domestically and the first Spider-Man film to cross $2 billion globally, while also overtaking Avengers: Endgame for the biggest domestic opening weekend ever. Holland's pay has risen sharply since his $250,000 fee for Captain America: Civil War in 2016, through $500,000 for Homecoming, roughly $4 million for Far From Home, and $10 million for No Way Home. Brand New Day currently holds a 90% "Certified Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and upcoming Marvel release Avengers: Doomsday is already tracking ahead of it in pre-sales.
