Two Milwaukee rappers, Lil Sheisty (Dequaiseon D. Evans, 21) and Funny $Money (Quentene E. Williams, 33), were shot dead inside a recording studio on Monday afternoon. Police say a 28-year-old suspect has been arrested, though no motive has yet been disclosed and the case has been referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for charging.

Officers were called to the scene near 31st Street and Cameron Avenue at around 3:40pm, where both men were pronounced dead. Evans, described by relatives as a young father of three and a rising rapper, was reportedly with his mentor Williams, a veteran of the city's hip-hop scene, at the time of the shooting; Williams had released a single just days earlier and had put out several projects throughout 2025 and into this year. Family members held a vigil for Evans on Tuesday, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
