The developer's response—advising players to move closer to their router or switch to a wired connection—has been met with scepticism, as it does not appear to have resolved the underlying server problems affecting the test.

FromSoftware posted the advice via the game's official X account, warning that wireless connections may cause instability and recommending players sit near their router/modem or use ethernet. The Duskbloods website also directed affected users to Nintendo's Switch 2 online services FAQ, though this has not fixed the issue for many testers. The closed network test runs until Monday, leaving a limited window for the problem to be addressed before players lose their chance to try the game ahead of its full launch later this year.
