Variety · 4 hours ago

Peacock’s first fully produced season of “Married at First Sight” has drawn strong viewing figures after changes intended to make the programme feel more premium and more appealing to streaming audiences. Season 20 reached more than 1.8 billion minutes viewed and its finale and reunion confirmed that only Cameron Mitchell and Michelle Le remained happily married.

The series was scheduled after “Love Island USA” and reportedly became a top-three streaming reality title for five consecutive weeks, while total viewing rose 153% from Season 19. Peacock executives said the revamp focused on more elaborate weddings, higher production values and an “aspirational” but authentic cast; the reunion also featured an audience for the first time. Of the two couples who initially chose to stay together on decision day, Mecca Amen and BelléJolie Force later said they had separated.

  • Peacock’s revamped Season 20 delivered 1.8 billion minutes viewed.
  • Only one couple was still married at the reunion.
  • Higher production values and casting changes drove the relaunch.
