Billboard has opened a weekly poll asking readers to choose their favourite among a busy set of late-August music releases. The releases span singles, EPs and albums from artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Alex Warren and JENNIE, highlighting several high-profile solo projects and new full-length records.

Rodrigo released the standalone single “Serena Joy” ahead of her Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California, which will support organisations for women and girls. Warren issued the album WILDCHILD, while JENNIE released the Fallen Angel EP as fellow BLACKPINK members JISOO and LISA prepare solo work; other releases include projects by Rod Wave, Billy Strings, Alabama Shakes, Erykah Badu and The Alchemist, plus new singles from Willow, Angèle and Chase & Status featuring Debbie.
