Google has begun rolling out its latest Android Feature Drop, bringing new Gemini-powered tools, messaging upgrades, and an official anti-motion-sickness feature to a broad range of devices. Unlike Pixel-exclusive Drops, this update reaches most Android phones, though some features depend on the OS version installed, and the changes add practical, non-AI improvements alongside the usual Gemini enhancements.

Users on Android 16 or later can now ask Gemini to remember where they've placed untagged items, with the location logged in Find Hub for later recall. Gemini Live also gains "Guided Vision," an accessibility feature that helps users locate objects or read unclear text via the camera, working on devices back to Android 9. Google Messages adds Google Keep integration for creating shared notes mid-conversation and customisable chat themes with photo-based colour schemes. Motion Assist, the floating-dot feature designed to ease car sickness, is now an official Android 17 feature, though it remains limited to a narrow set of devices. Google says the rollout will happen "soon," which could take days to weeks to reach all eligible phones.
