SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed, the sequel to the competitive racing platformer, is set to launch on Thursday, 3 September, publisher tinyBuild has confirmed. The release follows a successful playtest period and marks the full debut of the game after fans got an early taste of its updated mechanics and visuals.

The sequel retains the original's core aesthetic and gameplay while adding modernised high-definition graphics and improved netcode. Players choose from a roster of characters and compete in fast-paced races where knocking out rivals through power-ups and traps is encouraged, with courses offering varied challenges. The game is available to wishlist on Steam ahead of launch.
