Acer has unveiled Project DualPlay Mini at IFA, a concept gaming handheld under its Predator brand that can be converted into a small laptop. The device is designed to let users switch between gaming and productivity without needing separate hardware, offering a traditional handheld controller setup as well as a backlit keyboard and mouse option better suited to first-person shooters and strategy titles.

The concept can also function as a standard laptop for work tasks and supports connection to an external display. It shares its dual-fan cooling system with Acer's Predator Atlas 8, and its rear panel bears the inscription "Acer 50 since 1976" to mark the company's 50th anniversary. Acer has not disclosed specifications such as weight, and as a concept device, the DualPlay Mini may never reach production.
