Fan-shot footage showed LaMontagne sink to the stage while performing "Jolene" late in his set, after earlier stumbling twice during "Hannah" and apologising to the crowd before briefly leaving the stage. Attendees reported the venue was unusually hot that evening. The Nashville date was the second of two Ryman shows on his rescheduled "Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour," with The Weather Station as support, and LaMontagne is still expected to perform at the Louisville Palace the following night.
