David Harbour has won his first Emmy, taking the Supporting Actor prize in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his role as Floyd Smernitch in HBO Max's "DTF St. Louis". The award, presented on night two of the Creative Arts Emmys, marks a milestone for the actor, who had previously been nominated twice for playing Jim Hopper in "Stranger Things" but had never won. Harbour is also up for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series as an executive producer on the show, with that result due at next week's Primetime Emmy Awards.

Accepting the award, Harbour praised the show's writer, Steve Conrad, and thanked the HBO team, noting with amusement that "everybody was nominated" for the series. He beat fellow nominees Jason Bateman and Richard Jenkins (both also from "DTF St. Louis"), as well as Richard Gadd, Charles Melton and Nick Offerman. "DTF St. Louis", which debuted on HBO Max in March to strong critical and audience reception, has earned 13 Emmy nominations this season, including nods for casting and directing.
