Game of Thrones, which debuted 15 years ago and ran for eight seasons, remains beloved for its political intrigue and dragons despite a divisive final stretch of episodes. House of the Dragon, created by Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik, focuses on the Targaryen civil war between Rhaenyra and her half-brother Aegon, and has built its own dedicated following since launching after the original series ended.
