A clear trend was the growth of cameras sitting between professional gear and smartphone shooters, such as DJI-style pocket cameras and gimbal devices, as rivals appear to capitalise on GoPro's uncertain direction. Apple's influence was also evident, with Lenovo and Dell unveiling affordable laptops designed to compete with the MacBook Neo, alongside a flood of matching accessories from third-party vendors.

Standout devices included Lenovo's Project Swan, a concept ultrabook under 18mm thick and weighing 3.5 pounds, whose screen can expand from a standard laptop size up to 17 inches. Lenovo's $700 IdeaPad Vibe offered a cheaper, more customisable alternative to Apple's laptop, with a choice of Qualcomm or AMD chips and a generous port selection. Hohem, known for gimbal accessories, showed off its first standalone camera, the EyePic, featuring a detachable 4K/60fps module expected to launch in early 2027, while Dyson gave press hands-on access to its CameraJet toothbrush technology, first revealed in Paris the week before the show.
