The event, held at Lumen Field, is being framed as a celebration of Seattle's rock music heritage, with organisers pairing local musical legends with the football fixture. It also carries a sporting edge, as the Seahawks look to build on their 29-13 win over the Patriots the previous February.

For the halftime performance, McCready will play alongside Soundgarden members Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd, with Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless also joining the line-up; the pairing echoes their 2025 collaboration at Soundgarden's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. The pregame concert will be headlined separately by Luke Bryan. The game kicks off at 8:20pm ET and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
