A Facebook profile linked to a juror who reportedly sat on the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has surfaced online, showing she publicly celebrated Karen Read's acquittal earlier this year. The juror, identified as Kellie Farina, a senior centre chef in Plymouth County, told NBC10 Boston that defence attorney Kevin Reddington had strengthened his case by putting witnesses close to Clancy on the stand. The disclosure comes after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in Clancy's case on Friday, when jurors reportedly deadlocked 11-1, and it raises fresh questions about the panel's views heading into the high-profile prosecution.

Clancy, 36, had faced three counts of first-degree murder over the deaths of her three young children, who were found strangled at the family home in January 2023. Farina's Facebook posts from June 2025, in a "Free Karen Read" group, cheered Read's acquittal and criticised a state trooper referenced during that trial. She also told NBC10 Boston she found the Clancy prosecution "very, very harsh" and described the 911 call made by the children's father, Patrick Clancy, as "the most horrific thing." Reddington has said he hopes to negotiate with prosecutor Tim Cruz, and a status hearing has been set for 29 September.
