Lucid and Bolt have announced a partnership to deploy at least 25,000 autonomous vehicles across Europe, marking Lucid's expansion into the European robotaxi market. Bolt will own and operate the fleet, working with Lucid to develop vehicles based on the automaker's midsized platform, though no launch timeline has been disclosed.

The robotaxis will utilise NVIDIA's Hyperion autonomous vehicle architecture and feature Level 4 automation, operating independently within defined boundaries. Bolt aims for 100,000 autonomous vehicles across its platform by 2035. Lucid has already developed a two-seater robotaxi prototype and recently delayed its Cosmos SUV to early 2027; the company has additionally formed robotaxi partnerships in the US with Uber (35,000 vehicles planned) and Nuro, which is currently testing the Gravity robotaxi with a safety driver in Houston and the San Francisco Bay Area.
