Miley Cyrus has hinted that she may consider a concert residency after strong demand for two Hollywood Bowl shows in Los Angeles. The comments suggest she could favour audiences travelling to her rather than undertaking an extensive tour, which she has previously said could harm her mental wellbeing and sobriety.

Cyrus released her tenth album, ‘Bass Persuades’, on 18 September and scheduled the Hollywood Bowl performances for 16 and 18 October. Around 1.5 million people reportedly tried to buy tickets, despite the venue holding about 17,500 people, prompting suggestions that the shows could lead to a wider residency or similar arrangement.
