The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a public benefit concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 17th, featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl, Vince Staples, and Marc Maron. Co-founded by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea in 2001, this is the first year the Conservatory has opened its usually private annual fundraiser to the general public, marking a significant milestone for the nonprofit music school.

The event will support the Conservatory's music education programmes, which currently reach over 900 students each week, with more than 200 receiving scholarships for lessons, instruments, and classes. Tickets go on sale to the general public on 25 September at 10:00 a.m. PDT via Ticketmaster, following a pre-sale on 24 September. The Conservatory aims to raise approximately $1.5 million annually through such benefits, with previous editions having featured performances from notable artists including Patti Smith, Eddie Vedder, Neil Young, and Bruno Mars.
