HBO’s forthcoming Harry Potter television series has confirmed redesigned wands for its new interpretation of the Wizarding World. The redesign marks a visual departure from the film versions as the series prepares to adapt Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, giving familiar magical objects a distinct identity.

Official images show wands belonging to Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom. Although their descriptions remain unchanged, some designs differ noticeably, including Neville’s wand, which appears as a pale, twig-like object rather than the darker, more refined version seen in the films. The series will feature a new cast led by Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton, and is scheduled for release on 25 December 2026.
