Netflix has announced The Conjuring: Unspoken, the franchise’s first dedicated video game, due to arrive on the streaming service in October. It will matter to fans as a new interactive expansion of the Conjuring Universe, although Netflix has revealed very little about how it will play.

The game follows an investigation into paranormal activity at the Red Lion Inn, where a grieving family is being troubled by unexplained events. It will be available on Android and iOS through Netflix Games; its timeline and characters remain unknown, though it may tell an original story. The franchise will also continue in cinemas with The Conjuring: First Communion, scheduled for 10 September 2027 and described as the start of the universe’s second phase.
