Lola Petticrew’s latest series, *Trespasses*, has received an exclusive preview of its second episode, ahead of its PBS broadcast on 27 September. The episode follows Cushla as she confronts Michael after discovering that he is married and has a history of affairs, deepening the drama around their secret relationship.

Set in 1970s Belfast during the Troubles, the series centres on Cushla, a young Catholic teacher, and Michael, an older married Protestant barrister. Episode 2 also explores rising tensions at school and home, Cushla’s mother’s worsening alcoholism, and the consequences of Cushla’s kindness towards a pupil, while Gillian Anderson and Tom Cullen support Petticrew in the main cast.
