Inmo recalls Air3 smart glasses after overheating causes burn risk
Inmo has recalled its Air3 smart glasses after the left temple overheated during extended use, creating a risk of burns and potentially serious injury. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission said there have been 10 reports of users feeling burning on their faces and the left side of their ears.
The recall covers more than 1,600 pairs sold in the US and Canada between December 2025 and August 2026 for $900–$1,300 through Inmo’s website, Amazon and Kickstarter. Owners should stop using the glasses and contact Inmo for a free online software update; earlier reviews had already reported overheating, and the company supplied a protective sleeve intended to shield users from the heat.
