Kings of Leon have released a new single titled 'Cold Blue Dawn' from their upcoming album 'O My Beloved', accompanied by an innovative music video created in partnership with the Weather Channel. The collaboration represents a distinctive fusion of music and meteorological science, demonstrating how traditional media brands are increasingly exploring creative partnerships with established artists.

The single features the band's reflective bluesy sound and comes with a groundbreaking lyric video that uses NASA's historic Landsat satellite imagery to spell out every word of the lyrics, showcasing rivers, coastlines, farmland and mountain ranges. 'O My Beloved' will be Kings of Leon's tenth studio album and their first since 2024's 'Can We Please Have Fun', arriving on 6 November with 13 songs centred on nostalgia and self-reflection; the collaboration with the Weather Channel originated from a previous viral clip the broadcaster created featuring the band's song 'Pyro'.
