The Busan International Film Festival is a major film event in South Korea that showcases films from Korea and across Asia. Its Vision Awards recognise work in the festival’s Asian and Korean cinema programmes, with prizes chosen by critics, audiences and film industry groups.
Sakhya Byamba directed “Zogsool”, and Jeong Jihye directed “Full Moon”. The awards matter because they bring attention to films and filmmakers, and can help audiences discover work from across the region.
