The Rolling Stones are a British rock band formed in the early 1960s, with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards among their best-known members. Their long career has included many studio albums, and new editions can add songs that were left off the original release or issued separately.
A deluxe edition is an expanded version of an album, often aimed at listeners who want extra material. Here, the added songs include one that was previously available as an iTunes bonus track and four that have not been released before; producer Andrew Watt also worked with the band on their earlier album Hackney Diamonds.
Full account
The Rolling Stones will release an expanded edition of their 2026 album, Foreign Tongues, on 27 November. Titled Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips, it adds five recordings from the sessions around the original album, which was released in July. Polydor and Universal Music are named as the labels in reports.
The additions are “Where There’s a Will”, “She Still Comes Around”, “Who You Callin’ Crazy”, “Human Tide” and “Bad Luck Hideaway”. The last was previously available as an iTunes bonus track; one report also notes it has since appeared digitally as a B-side to “Mr. Charm”. “Who You Callin’ Crazy” features saxophonist Courtney Pine. “Bad Luck Hideaway” is described as a Mick Jagger and Keith Richards duet, with drums by Charlie Watts.
The release is planned for digital formats, standalone vinyl and a deluxe two-CD set. The vinyl edition pairs the five new recordings on LP with the original album on CD. The two-CD version places the 14-track Foreign Tongues on its first disc and the five additional songs on the second. One report says “Who You Callin’ Crazy” is due digitally on 16 October.
The reports place Loose Lips in the context of the group’s continuing work with producer Andrew Watt, who also worked on 2023’s Grammy-winning Hackney Diamonds. They differ in the detail they foreground: one focuses on the release date and adds a favourable assessment of the album’s sound; another highlights Pine’s involvement and the band’s return to the studio; the third gives the format breakdown and a separate release date for one track. Their reviews of Foreign Tongues are also mixed, ranging from praise for its familiar sound to criticism of its production and some of its material.
Where outlets differ
Source 1 identifies the five-song expansion and says it will be issued as standalone vinyl, but does not detail the deluxe two-CD configuration or mention Courtney Pine’s contribution.
Source 2 specifies that “Who You Callin’ Crazy” features Courtney Pine and describes “Bad Luck Hideaway” as a Jagger–Richards duet with Charlie Watts on drums. It does not provide the physical-edition track layout.
Source 3 supplies the vinyl and two-CD contents, says “Who You Callin’ Crazy” is due digitally on 16 October, and notes “Bad Luck Hideaway” was also released as a digital B-side. It describes the album as the band’s 25th British studio album, while Source 1 calls it their 25th studio album.
