Robert Pattinson’s New Thriller Officially Removed From 1,400 Theaters
Robert Pattinson’s thriller *Primetime* has lost more than 800 cinemas as A24 makes room for new releases, including a documentary co-directed by *Primetime* director Lance Oppenheim. The change follows three weeks of solid North American box-office results and comes as the film begins its international release.
The film has made $42 million domestically against a reported $14 million budget, and may eventually reach $50 million. Its run has fallen from more than 2,800 cinemas in September to around 1,400; it stars Merritt Wever and Skyler Gisondo alongside Pattinson, and has an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score. Based on *To Catch a Predator*, the psychological drama has drawn criticism from Chris Hansen, while critics have praised Pattinson’s performance.
