Body discovered in search for missing 17-year-old near Glasgow
A body has been found in Mugdock Country Park during the search for 17-year-old Kristijonas Demcenko, who went missing from Milngavie, near Glasgow. Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious; formal identification has not yet taken place, and his family have been informed of the discovery.
Demcenko was last seen at about 2.30pm on Monday near the junction of Mugdock Road and Douglas Street, heading towards the Mugdock Road car park. Police had asked the public to check dashcam and doorbell footage, as well as sheds and outbuildings. The body was found on Friday, four days after he went missing, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
