Luke Bryan’s son thanks fans for prayers after painful high school football injury
Luke Bryan’s son Bo says he has broken his collarbone after being injured while playing quarterback for his Tennessee high school team. He thanked people for their support and said, “We will be back”; the injury comes during a strong first season as a starter.
Bo, 18, was sacked on the opening drive and landed on his right shoulder before leaving the game with his arm in a sling. Before the injury, he had thrown for 2,006 yards and 30 touchdowns, with three interceptions, in seven games as his team recorded a 6-1 start. He said he would have an X-ray after the game, while coach Bobby Bentley said the team would work out how to respond.
