Drew Pearce And Tom Holland Team On Sony Thriller ‘Penthouse’

Sony has pre-emptively bought *Penthouse*, an original thriller idea by Drew Pearce, and is developing it as a starring vehicle for Tom Holland. The deal extends the partnership between Sony and Holland, whose production company Billy17 has a producing agreement with the studio.

Pearce will write the screenplay and produce through Point of No Return, while Holland, Harry Holland and Will South will produce for Billy17. The plot has not been disclosed. The project follows the reported worldwide gross of more than $2 billion for *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*; Holland is also set to star in Sony’s upcoming Fred Astaire film.
